SD UNITED strives to make a difference off the field in the community and also around the world. Several members of our front office, coaching staff, players and soccer family supporters have been involved with amazing philanthropies and charities. The beautiful game of soccer allows all of us to continue making a huge impact on the lives of human beings in need as well as sharing strong family values. SD UNITED will continue to support positive outreach.

INVISIBLE CHILDREN- In the spring of 2003, three young filmmakers traveled to Africa in search of a story. What started out as a filmmaking adventure transformed into much more when these boys from Southern California discovered a tragedy that disgusted and inspired them, a tragedy where children are both the weapons and the victims. We are storytellers. We are visionaries, humanitarians, artists, and entrepreneurs. We are individuals part of a generation eager for change and willing to pursue it.

ALS FOUNDATION- In the quest to create a world without ALS, our vision is to care for and support all people living with Lou Gehrig’s Disease as we leave no stone unturned in our relentless search for a cure.

WINDNSEA SURF CLUB “Day at the Beach”- The Windansea Surf Club has over 300 members of all ages. The goal of the club has always been to promote the sport of surfing and the positive image of surfers as athletes and good citizens through the sponsorship of competitive surfing events and charitable community activities. Club members work with the Junior Foundation for the Blind, the Cancer Research Foundation, the California Police Olympics and the St. Vincent De Paul Center for Homeless Children.
